Stop-Motion Animation
Stop-motion Animation Program is named stop-motion animation because it is all about stopping the camera and moving the figures to create the illusion of motion.
Children will learn the fundamentals of animation and create their own projects using plasticine, cut-out characters or purely household objects, props for their scenes. Post-production is done in iMovie (Final Cut for older kids) for voice over (recording voices for their characters) and film editing.
For older (or more experienced kids) there are more complex projects that involve more realistic characters, drawing animation, multi-layer drawing animation and mixed media (combining life-action film, animation and photos).
